My tan and I are heading home.

Packed my stuff and Willoughby
into the Explorer
and Norte we go.

Ran into Rain in Fresno California.

Its raining here in Redding California.

Its raining all the way up the I5 to
the Great White North.

I had to put socks and underwear on.

Brrrrrr...

I've travelled to Land's End,

Crossed the Salt Flats of ESSA,

watched the sun rise over
The Laguna De Liebre Oro,

seen a rainbow appear
in the mist of an exhale,

and looked into the curious eye of
a majestic Grey whale.

Today, I lived a full day.

Snorkeling

@ Santa Marie Bay

iPods Rock

At least mine does
plugged into the car audio system, slick.
8 days of uninterupted music.

Perfecto por La Baja.

Kinda anti-social, elitist,
introverted little device. Nice.

Never used one before. Intuitive interface.
Click, spin, click.
Awesome tactile sensation. SLICK.
Joe like.
Make Joe smile.

I've been using iTunes for years,
and it was as simple as plugging my new
technotoy into a USB2.0 slot on my laptop.

It was already charged, and took 1 1/2 hours
to transfer 20g of music, 2508 songs, mostly
320kb mp3, and 25 AAC files from the itunes store.
Currently, i've skimmed 438 albums out
of my 700 CD collection.
It is 2 whole bookcases of cds in my shirt pocket.

Got one video: U2's
Where the Streets Have No Name
just so i could watch one on that tiny screen.
Cool that it could do it but not
what i want or really need.

Video is a memory and battery pig...

Put all my blog photos on my iPod. Slick.
Way better than wallet photos.

The thing is tiny. Light. I could lose it.

O, Yeah, It also sounds excellent.
Loud enough to make ya deaf.
Ear buds will make you anti-social.
I prefer speakers, lotsa speakers,
and amps, too.

I prefer it as a large scale portable storage device
plugged into the car and home audio systems.
30G Digital source. Nice.

Would've got the 60G but Best Buy was sold out of'em.

Beach Rescue

Gringo Beach Services

I've rescued 2 vehicles out of the sand at Tule beach.

Arturo, a Butler @ the Palmilla resort, had been there since the day before. He had come back with a shovel, some planks and dos amigos but he was highside on a large rock.

4X4 +
a 20ft tow rope,
have come in handy,

Tied up and dragged'em out.

Two nights ago, came across

a pickup truck with a Mexican couple trying
to have a sunset picnic on the beach.
Dude had backed up into soft sand and just
sunk the back end and spun the tires deep.

Tied up and dragged'em out.

Roger said it made up for watching figure skating.

Bad Blogger

Standard issue Cabo Sunrise

Sorry, I've been getting into a rhythm of doing nothing.
No watch, no phone, no internet...
Watch the sunrise,
Swim in the pool, eat, sleep,
take the dog to the beach all afternoon,
read, eat, sleep, repeat

Buzzards have been buzzing me everyday

Saturday night I went to Todos Santos with Roger and Willow.
We went to a Reggae festival on the beach.

Beer was 15 pesos.
Roger paid for 2 beers with a 50 peso note.
His change was 5 pesos and another beer :)

Santa Marie

We went to Cabo San Lucas to swim with the Dolphins, but the aquarium was still under construction...

Playa Chileno

Tibor and Carmela under the 16ft fish scale

Willow and I are the shadows in the foreground.

I photoshopped out 2 people in the background.

Is that wrong?
